Implementation

We are developing a new capability and expertise in the implementation of integrated care programs that provides specific attention to the challenges and rewards of careful implementation of complex interventions. This work employs a realist research and evaluation perspective that considers the context, mechanism and outcomes in specific interventions in Ontario that address the needs of complex and high cost patient populations. We have used this approach to evaluation with an early example being our evaluation of the Integrated Funding Model.
