Patient & Caregiver Experience

The HSPN has undertaken a variety of studies and project to understand the patient and caregiver experience, particularly for individuals with multiple complex health needs. We document the related issues and develop measures of patient and caregiver experience.

Our program engages with patients throughout the research and this begins by asking patients themselves about their experiences with care. We have several teams with considerable expertise in interviewing patients and caregivers and analyzing these data to develop a deeper and more meaningful understanding of patient and caregiver experience, particularly as they transition through the health system.
