Performance Measurement

The HSPN originated from a goal to develop performance measures that specifically assess the performance of health systems, rather than specific healthcare providers. We have developed a range of research that has assessed the performance of the health system and specific health system interventions that address the needs of patients with complex health needs including high need and high cost populations. This work is undertaken with a view to the triple-aim framework of health system performance and provides an emphasis on developing approaches that track patient trajectories across multiple providers in the health system inclusive of episodic and ongoing care needs.
