OECD Primary Care Patient Reported Experience and Outcome (PREM/PROM) Pilot Survey

The Health System Performance Network (HSPN) is participating in an exciting international collaboration on PREMs and PROMs (Patient-Reported Experience and Patient-Reported Outcome Measures).

WE ARE RECRUITING

HSPN is looking for 25 community-based PRIMARY CARE Providers (NP-led or Physician Practices) as pilot sites for this survey in Ontario. You will complete one 20 minute survey with questions about how you manage and support patients with chronic conditions AND you will distribute a electronic invitation to all patients AGED 45 and OLDER WHO HAVE VISITED YOUR PRIMARY CARE PRACTICE IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS (virtually or in-person).

We offer $750 for your participation as compensation to identify eligible patients and to distribute a link to the survey electronically. You need to have at least 300 patients aged 45 or over who have visited your practice within the past 6 months (our target is 75 responses per practice).

This initiative is led by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and is called the Patient Reported Indicator Survey (PaRIS; see https://www.oecd.org/health/paris/). The pilot study is supported by Canada’s Strategy for Patient Oriented Research (SPOR) Primary and Integrated Health Care Innovations (PIHCI) Network on behalf of Health Canada and in collaboration with the HSPN and the Ontario SPOR Support Unit and has received REB approval from the University of Toronto.

Interested providers should complete this ONLINE FORM by Friday September 22st. Further information available by inquiry to hspn@utoronto.ca.
